2014er LockringTue, 22 Apr 2014 00:00:00 +0200 - MTB
With a little delay the Easter bunny arrived at our office too. Instead of coloured eggs we are now well supplied with the new 2014 Lockring. After a little weight-optimization we are now having a weight of only 4,1g. The old Lockring had compared to that a weight of 6,4g. So let’s see where we can get rid of some more weight next…

How you plumb yourself light 29er crankset out of 0,8 grams of locktite, a few screws and a few other ingredients:
(Jamie Oliver style)
1. Choose ingredients ; 2. Check weight (582,3 grams) ; 3. Stir well! ; 4. Check weight again: Exactly 0,8 grams more (Some saliva, sweat, Locktite … and probably a ripped of fingernail)
Well, READY is the new 2014 XC666-29er! Fits every hole … , sorry bottom bracket! (From July onwards starting at 565 grams!)
From training directly to the podium!Thu, 03 Apr 2014 00:00:00 +0200 - MTB
Last weekend the Austrian rider, Felix Ritzinger, was able to ride directly on #2 at his first race of the season (“Kamptal Klassik Trophy” in Langenlois/Austria). With perfect spring conditions on that race day, only Jan Rajchart (Czech Republic) was faster than him (24sec). Despite his somewhat less than perfect preparation due to an injury and a cold, it was a good start into the new season! Almost 2 minutes ahead of #3 on the first race of the season is a good proof of what can be expected this season. For the upcoming weekend and the first race of the “Junior World Series” in Nals/Italy, we wish him all the best and keep the finger crossed!
Team toMotion Racing by black tuskSat, 29 Mar 2014 00:00:00 +0100 - MTB
The team-claim for 2014 is “back to the roots”. The former team “Black Tusk Racing by toMotion” changed the name to “toMotion Racing by black tusk” due to a new strategic focus. Just the same the name giver of our 1266XM Black Tusk – wheelset got big plans for this season! We are really excited to be part of it again this year. Beside our wheelsets some of the team members are also riding our B.O.R Germany cranks (some even with a Powermeter). The team is organized in different groups and offers with 6 locations within Germany a home for bike enthusiast who don’t like to ride alone. For the season we wish all riders and team members all the best and fun while biking!

We want to congratulate her on the new sponsorship and are already looking forward for the first race results! For the future and her races, we wish her all the best!

Tomorrow the 22.03.2014 at 15:30pm-MEZ the 30min-documentary: „Besis Tour fürs Leben” will be broadcasted on the biggest public-sector broadcaster in Germany (station: ARD). A camera-team spent time with Andreas “Besi” Beseler on his four-week trip through Canada last year and delivers nice shots with that movie. He was riding our B.O.R Germany crank on his journey together with a Power2Max-Powermeter. This story is not only a perfect example how to handle a heavy stroke of fate. It also gives people in similar situations courage, hope and the power to prepare their own “Tour for live”. So set your timer and enjoy! It’s worth it. For the future we wish Andreas all the best and a lot of energy for more adventures!

Our polished beauties!Thu, 20 Feb 2014 00:00:00 +0100 - MTB
On special request of a customer we produced a limited edition of our XC666. The parts were polished and prepared with a special coating. The result is really stunning as we think! „Rad statt Rollstuhl“(Cycle instead of wheelchair) – Andreas „Besi“ BeselerThu, 13 Feb 2014 00:00:00 +0100 - MTB & ROAD
There are different ways to handle a medical diagnosis. Andreas “Besi” Beseler has found his! Under the motto “Rad statt Rollstuhl” (Cycle instead of wheelchair) he is riding the tracks and streets despite his multiple sclerosis! Cycling as pain- and exercise therapy! Last year he has done a 3800km tour trough Canada. This incredible achievement is not only giving him the strength, it also helps other people with that non-curable disease. This summer is a new tour planned. “Besi&Friends” from Jügesheim near Frankfurt to Barcelona in Spain! There are some stage slots still free to enter. Take the chance to meet a magnificent person and ride together! We are really impressed by his power and his strength of will! Therefore we are thankful that he trusts in our B.O.R Germany crank with Power2Max-Powermeter. For the future we wish him all the best!
