They are also equipped with the modified “Smooth Narrow Wide”-teeth design in order to avoid any possibility of „Chain-Suck“! The rings do also have the “Double Surface Treatment” which we already presented on our TWO-Triathlon rings some weeks ago to offer a longer durability!

Technology: „Smart Spindle System“Wed, 17 Dec 2014 00:00:00 +0100 - MTB & ROAD
A lot of people frequently asking us, what is the „Smart Spindle System“ and what advantages do it have? Here is the answer:
It is the first fully compatible bottom bracket and crank concept, which aims at being compatible for a maximum number of bottom bracket environments. Developed in 2010 in cooperation with Tune, the “Smart Spindle System” was designed for cranks with 30 mm spindle and secures the installation of our crank platform in virtually any bottom bracket shell except Trek BB90. 4 different bearing cups, 3 different spacer rings and two bearings are enough for the whole concept to compose the different bearing-kits. Though, the “Smart Spindle System” tries to clean up the mess, “created” by too many “creatives” and it gives at least some guidance. And the best thing about it: When you change the frame you can take your crank and just need to adjust the bearing-kit according to your bottom bracket shell in the new frame!
A detailed description and a list of all available “bearing-kits” is available on our website on all crank-sites among other technical details under the Tab – Bearing Kits:”Smart Spindle System” -.
